National CDA Day
CDA Mass and reception of new members
Court members met on September 30th, 2025, at the City of La Grange Council Chambers for the National CDA Day Proclamation Signing by Mayor Jan Dockery. On Sunday, October 19, 2025, on the annual National Catholic Daughters’ Day, we were blessed with a beautiful Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 9:00 A.M. for the intention of our Court’s Living and Deceased Members. Fr. Chris Smith, Chaplain, presided and was joined at the altar by Deacon Kyle Janda and Transitional Deacon Cameron Kologinczak. A very good turnout of members participated in the procession into church. Carrying our Court Banner was Cynthia Novak, State Ways and Means Co-Chairman, followed by the JCDA members, new members, members and officers. Mary Lou Anderle, State Spiritual Enhancement Chairman, ushered members into their pews. Members participated in the Liturgy, Cantor Terri Wager, Lector Rebecca Munsch and Gift Bearers Court Officers. This was the first opportunity for the Court Officers to wear their new uniform of white blouse, black slacks, and closed toe black shoes. Each officer wore a medallion representing their respective office around their neck.
